Jung Mina
이번 세션의 주인공은 정민아입니다. 몹시도 춥던 겨울밤 그녀의 작은 방 안, 바로 앞에서 듣는 가야금 소리는 참 아름다웠습니다. 물결처럼 넘실대며 피부에 와닿는 울림이 마이크로는 다 담기지 않았습니다.
Our star of this session is Jung Mina. The sound of gayageum, right in front of us in her small yet cozy room, during a cold winter night, was absorbingly beautiful. The resonating waves that came touch our skin were impossible to grasp with a single microphone.
날이 추워지고 바람은 날카로워지고, 뮤지션들은 바깥에서 연주하기 힘들고 우리도 추운 곳에서 떨고 싶지 않아서, 어느새 이 블로그는 마포지역 카페 탐방 시리즈물로 변질되어가고 있습니다. 그래도 도깨비커피집에서는 좋은 냄새가 났고, 공간이 작아서 그런지 다행히 소리가 기분좋게 울렸습니다. 정민아와, 출국을 앞두고 기꺼이 짬을 내준 서영도의 연주는 커피 내음처럼 실내를 채우더니 이내 골목으로 퍼져나갔습니다.
Ever since the record snowfall in Seoul, few are willing to play outside and it's the same for us recording team; which is unintendedly degenerating this project into a touring series of cafes in Mapo area. Nevertheless, Doggebi Coffeehouse smelled good and sounded great, possibly thanks to the small space. The duet of Jung Mina and Seo Young-Do, who generously shared his time with us right before his flight abroad, filled up the inside like the smell of coffee then spread out into the street.
