 네, 이건 라세 린드가 맞습니다. 그리고 여기는 홍대입구역 5번출구 앞이 맞습니다. 어느새 3개 대륙에서 온 목소리들을 담게 된 렉앤플레이 세 번째 편입니다.

 Yes, this is Lasse Lindh. And yes, this is 5th exit of Hongdae Station. It's the third episode of recandplay, already featuring voices from three continents.

 라세 린드가 우리와 굉장히 적극적으로 촬영에 대한 아이디어를 나눴기 때문에 촬영은 무척 즐겁고 수월했습니다. 다만 어느새 만연한 겨울 찬바람이 우리를 가만히 놔두지는 않았습니다. 라세 린드를 12월 초 어느날 길에서 우연히 만났을 때 그는 고뿔에 절어 있었고, 마침내 다시 연락이 되기까지는 열흘이 걸렸습니다. 그리고 촬영 날은 올 겨울 처음으로 최고기온이 영하에서 영상으로 올라오지 못한 날이었어요. 라세는 괜찮다고 했지만 그의 손은 별로 안 괜찮아 보였습니다. 우리가 아티스트의 후생복지에 그다지 관심을 두는 편은 아니긴 해도 이건 인간적으로 너무 춥죠. 이건 진짜야, 거리 좆까! * 사실 홍대의 대표적인 만남의 장소에서 스웨덴 싱어송라이터가 일부 사람들의 호기심과 나머지의 무관심 속에 노래하는 모습은 보기에 무척 즐거운 광경이었습니다. 하지만 당시에는 이런 생각이 들지 않았고, 모두들 어딘가 들어가서 몸을 녹여야겠다는 일념으로 이동했습니다.

 Lasse Lindh shared his ideas about the shooting eagerly with us, which made the whole process very much joyful and smooth. However the cold wind of winter already all around us didn't share the same qualities. When we first happened upon Lasse Lindh he had a cold, and it took us ten days to reach him again. And the shooting D-day was the first one of this winter, of which maximum temperature stayed below 0. Lasse said he was okay, but his hands didn't look quite so. We usually don't have big interest in the artists' welfare; well, this was too much. Bloody cold! The Swedish singer-songwriter playing in one of Hongdae's most representative meeting spot, surrounded by some's curiosity and others' indifference was actually a joy to watch. But at that moment the only thing in our mind was to go somewhere and get warm.

 마침 가는 방향에 있던 커피볶는 곰다방에 들러 차를 시키고 몸을 녹이며 수다를 떨었습니다. 이렇게 활발하게 대화하는 스웨덴 남자는 이제껏 만나본 적이 없습니다. 그나저나 라세가 영화를 공부했고 시나리오도 쓴다는 거 알고 계셨나요? 그래서 그런지 그는 우리 영상에 많은 관심을 보였고, 촬영할 만한 다음 장소로 자기가 즐겨 간다는 80년대 느낌 나는 클럽 겸 바를 추천했습니다. 80년대라고? 궁금증을 안고 도착한 곳은 오버사운드였습니다.

 As we walked we passed by Coffeehouse Gomdabang, where we ordered some tea and chatted along. A Swedish guy this active and eager to talk, that's something you don't see too often. And by the way, did you know that Lasse studied film and writes scenarios? We now see that he was much interested in our videos and filming equipment, and he also recommended the next location, a club/bar with lights as if they came right from the 80's. The 80's? Curious, we headed to OverSound.

 이곳에서 우리는 직원들에게 양해를 구했고, 라세는 기대하지 않았던 노래를 연주해주었습니다. 이 노래가 반가운 건 우리뿐만이 아니어서 직원 중 한 분도 관심 있게 쳐다보고 있다가 무척 좋아하는 노래인데 저 아저씨는 뭐하는 거냐고 물어왔습니다. 저 아저씨가 이 노래를 쓴 사람이라고 말해주자 놀란 그녀의 눈빛은 확연히 초롱초롱해졌고, 우리는 어쩐지 기분이 좋아졌습니다.

 We asked the bar staff for allowance of filming, and Lasse played a tune we hadn't expected to hear. We weren't the only ones surprised; a bartender seemed quite interested, until she asked us what it was about the dude covering one of her favorite songs. We informed her that this dude was the one who wrote the song; her eyes began glaring with some "wow"-like expression, and we all savoured the fun.
